Sy^2 + Associates, Inc. engaged the services of AIT Consulting to conduct the site-specific Seismic Hazard Assessment of Portico located in Oranbo Drive, Brgy. Oranbo, Pasig City, Philippines. Portico is a 50-story high rise residential condominium with a land area of 7, 292 sqm.
The scope of work planned includes developing the site-specific seismic hazard assessment to characterize earthquake ground shaking that may occur at the project sites during future seismic events in the region; performing ground investigation (shear wave velocity test); assessing site characteristics of deep basin by microtremor observations; and performing ground response analysis to predict ground surface motions.
